The Sales Trader will be responsible for executing trades on behalf of clients while providing strategic advice and market insights. The role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients. The Sales Trader will work closely with both the sales team and the trading desk to ensure clients receive the best possible execution and service.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients.
  • Provide personalized trading strategies and regular market updates.

Trade Execution:

  • Execute trades across various asset classes efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor orders to minimize costs and slippage.

Market Insight & Analysis:

  • Provide market commentary and collaborate with research for trade recommendations.
  • Stay updated on market trends and developments.

Sales Support:

  • Assist in pitching new products and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support smooth client onboarding and trade execution.

Risk Management:

  • Monitor risk exposure and ensure trades align with client risk profiles.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate trade records and provide performance reports to clients.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work with internal teams (research, compliance, back-office) for efficient trade processing.
  • Contribute to strategic discussions on client retention and acquisition.
