Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Automation Hardware Design Engineer to join our pharmaceutical system manufacturing organization in a proposal role. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing the system architecture for control systems and providing accurate cost estimations. Proficiency in Rockwell and/or Siemens platforms is required.


Accountable and Responsible for :


1. Develop comprehensive system architectures for control systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

2. Prepare detailed proposals including hardware design, system layout, and cost estimation.

3. Collaborate with sales, system integrators, and engineering teams to gather necessary information for proposals.

4. Evaluate client requirements and ensure proposed solutions meet regulatory and compliance standards specific to the pharmaceutical industry.

5. Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accuracy in cost estimations to align with project budgets.

6. Conduct feasibility assessments and risk analysis to ensure proposed solutions are viable and reliable.

7. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation hardware and software, specifically within the Rockwell and Siemens platforms.

8. Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss and justify proposed solutions.

9. Assist in the preparation of technical documents and responses to client queries.

10. Maintain a database of cost components and estimation methodologies for reference in future proposals.



Qualifications:


1. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field

2. Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in hardware design and system architecture.

3. Proven experience with Rockwell and/or Siemens automation platforms.

4. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.

5. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.

6. Proficiency in CAD software for hardware design.

7.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

10. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.



Preferred Qualifications:


1. Relevant certifications in Rockwell or Siemens automation platforms.

2. Experience with other automation platforms and tools.

3. Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.

4. Prior Experience in a proposal or project management role.
