Key Responsibilities:

- Define and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy for CAPEX items, aligned with business objectives.

- Lead and manage the procurement of heavy equipment, steel, and construction materials to meet project requirements.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.

- Drive contract negotiations and establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers.

- Monitor market trends, material costs, and industry developments to achieve procurement optimization.

- Manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and effective allocation of resources.

- Implement and maintain procurement policies and processes for operational efficiency.

- Oversee supplier performance metrics, including delivery schedules, quality standards, and compliance.

- Lead risk mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted supply chains and business continuity.

- Develop procurement analytics and reporting frameworks to support decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to align procurement with technical specifications.

- Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering growth and capability development.

- Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards in procurement activities.

Required Skills:

- Deep expertise in procurement of CAPEX items in heavy construction and steel industries.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving high performance.

- Proven ability in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship development.

- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and data analysis tools.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills for cost analysis and procurement optimization.

- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and risk management strategies.

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in procurement.
