Qualifications and Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- An MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field is highly Minimum of 8-20 years of experience in international sales and marketing, with a focus on industrial components such as automotive, tractor, sensor, or marine products.
- Proven leadership experience managing international sales teams and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Expertise in managing large-scale accounts and distributor networks in multiple global regions.
- In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, export compliance, tariffs, and global logistics.
- Experience working in complex industries such as automotive, agriculture, sensor technology, or marine.

Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of International Export Industrial Sales and Marketing with specialized knowledge in automotive components, tractor components, sensor components, or marine components.
- This strategic leadership role is responsible for overseeing and driving the global sales and marketing efforts for our industrial product lines, ensuring market expansion, customer acquisition, and sustainable revenue growth across international markets.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, developing and executing international sales strategies, managing key accounts, and navigating the complexities of global trade.
- They will work closely with senior leadership and regional teams to expand our presence in key markets, strengthen brand recognition, and effectively position our products to meet diverse customer needs within the automotive, agriculture, sensor technology, and marine industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership and Vision:
- Develop and Implement Global Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive international sales strategy focused on automotive components, tractor components, sensor components, and marine components to drive market share and profitability in global markets.
- Market Penetration: Identify and evaluate new and existing international markets, formulating tailored go-to-market strategies that align with local customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Global Account Management: Lead and manage relationships with key international customers, including OEMs, distributors, and strategic partners, ensuring consistent sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead a global sales and marketing team, providing direction, support, and training to ensure the achievement of sales targets and professional growth across the team.
2. Sales Performance and Revenue Growth:
- Revenue & Profit Growth: Drive sales performance to meet and exceed revenue, profitability, and market share goals across international markets.
- Budget & P&L Management: Own the international sales and marketing budget, monitor expenditure, and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment (ROI).
- Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for expansion into new geographic regions, monitor emerging market trends, and leverage the company's product strengths to enter and grow market share in those regions.
3. Market Research and Customer Insights:
- Customer & Market Analysis: Oversee market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points in different regions.
- Use these insights to develop targeted marketing strategies and product offerings.
- Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor competitor activities in global markets, including pricing, promotions, and product offerings.
- Adjust strategies to ensure a competitive advantage.
- Product Positioning: Lead product positioning and ensure clear differentiation of the company's automotive, tractor, sensor, and marine components based on quality, performance, and value in diverse international markets.
4. Marketing and Branding:
- Brand Awareness: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute global branding initiatives that promote the company's industrial components in the international markets.
- Digital Marketing: Utilize digital marketing channels, trade shows, and industry events to increase global visibility, lead generation, and engagement with potential customers.
- Sales Collateral & Training: Ensure the creation of effective sales collateral, product documentation, and training programs for international sales teams to support product positioning and sales efforts.
5. Export and Logistics Management:
- Export Operations Oversight: Oversee the logistics, export operations, and compliance requirements for selling automotive, tractor, sensor, and marine components in international markets.
Ensure smooth processes for customs, tariffs, and shipping regulations.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure that all international sales activities comply with relevant export laws, industry standards, and certifications in each market (e.g., CE, ISO, SAE, ASTM).
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure product availability, timely deliveries, and cost-effective distribution solutions across international markets.
6. Partnerships and Relationship Building:
- Key Partnerships: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with distributors, agents, and local manufacturers in international markets to strengthen market presence and boost sales.
- Negotiations and Contracts: Lead negotiations with international distributors and customers, ensuring favorable terms and long-term agreements.
- Maintain key contracts and relationships with major clients and partners.
7. Reporting and Analytics:
- Sales Performance Reporting: Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to senior leadership.
- Use data to adjust strategies and improve performance.
- Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts based on market data, sales pipeline, and historical trends, ensuring alignment with business goals and resource allocation.
- KPI Tracking: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to international sales, customer acquisition, market share growth, and profitability, making adjustments as needed.
