The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality releases through robust test automation, CI/CD integration, and collaboration across teams.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium for Android and iOS applications.- Develop scalable and maintainable test scripts in Java integrated with TestNG or JUnit.- Implement and manage automation builds using Maven for project and dependency management.- Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality across mobile devices.- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, analyze, and resolve bugs and issues early in the development cycle.- Conduct testing on real devices and simulators, analyzing performance, functionality, and compatibility.- Maintain detailed documentation of automation processes, test results, and defect reports.- Stay updated with evolving mobile automation tools and best practices to continuously improve framework efficiency.- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and test strategy discussions for new features and releases.Required Skillsets :- Strong hands-on experience in Java programming and Appium automation.- Expertise in Android and iOS testing, including understanding of APKs/IPAs and mobile architecture.- Proficiency with Maven, TestNG, JUnit, and Git version control.- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.- Good knowledge of REST API testing and integration with automation frameworks.- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for mobile test environments.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setup.- Attention to detail with a strong focus on product quality and user experience.Good to Have :- Experience with cloud-based mobile testing tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.- Exposure to BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.- Basic understanding of performance or security testing for mobile applications.
