Role Overview :The Informatica Developer is a senior data engineering role requiring 912 years of experience, focused on solving complex data challenges through the design, development, and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines.Based in Hinjewadi Phase II, Pune, this position operates on a 2 PM 11 PM shift and is crucial for developing solutions using Informatica IICS (Intelligent Cloud Services) and modern Azure data services.The incumbent will serve as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentoring team members while ensuring high-quality, efficient code delivery.Job Summary :We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer (9-12 years) with solid expertise in Informatica IICS Development and good exposure to the Azure Cloud environment. The role involves hands-on development of robust data pipelines using IICS, Azure Data Factory, and/or Azure Databricks, requiring proficiency in Python and SQL. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who enjoys mentoring, solving complex data problems, and driving technical excellence across projects.Key Responsibilities :- Informatica Cloud Development: Provide Hands-on development using Informatica IICS (Intelligent Cloud Services), including the design, configuration, and optimization of complex data integration mappings, transformations, and task flows.- Azure Data Pipeline Implementation: Develop, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines leveraging Azure's native services, specifically Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks.- Coding and Scripting: Write clean, efficient code in Python and SQL for data manipulation, cleaning, complex logic execution within Databricks/ADF, and advanced data querying.- Mentorship and Quality Assurance: Guiding and mentoring team members on best practices for IICS, cloud data services, coding standards, and data quality assurance to deliver high-quality outcomes.- Problem Solving: Apply Strong programming fundamentals and a problem-solving mindset to tackle complex data integration challenges, data transformations, and performance tuning issues.- Cloud Integration: Utilize Good exposure to Azure Cloud environments to integrate Informatica solutions with Azure storage, databases, and compute services.- Collaboration: Act as a collaborative partner, working closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.Mandatory Skills & Qualifications- Experience: 912 years of relevant professional experience.- Core ETL/ELT: Solid experience in Informatica IICS Development.- Cloud Platforms: Good exposure to Azure Cloud environments.- Programming: Proficiency in Python and SQL.- Data Tools: Hands-on experience Building and optimizing pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Azure Databricks.- Fundamentals: Strong programming fundamentals and a problem-solving mindset.- Team Skills: Proven ability as a team player who enjoys mentoring and knowledge sharing.Preferred Skills :- Deep technical knowledge of Azure data warehousing (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics).- Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality tools within the Informatica ecosystem.- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD) for data pipelines and IICS deployments.- Experience in performance tuning complex SQL queries and Informatica mappings in a high-volume data environment.
