Profile – Sr. Web Developer

Experience - 4.5 to 6 Years

Location – Indore

Mode of working – Remote 

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of web developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage workloads to ensure efficient operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback for the development team.

Technical Development and Maintenance

  • Oversee the development and implementation of SEO-friendly website structures.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Develop and customize Shopify websites, including creating and implementing custom Shopify themes.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on clients' websites.

Project and Client Management

  • Collaborate with the SEO team and project managers to understand and translate clients' objectives into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, project managers, and the digital marketing team to ensure project goals are met.

Optimization and Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor website performance, conduct technical audits, and implement optimizations to improve site speed, user experience, and search engine rankings.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for web development processes.

Sales and Pre-Sales Support

  • Create pre sales proposals, define work scope, and lead interview calls to assist the sales team in acquiring new projects.
  • Support the sales team with pre-sales activities as required.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with sales teams, designers, and other stakeholders to understand/define project requirements.
  • Help the digital marketing team with technical queries and implement technical tasks on time.

Continuous Learning and Development

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in client meetings for requirement gathering and providing technical insights.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites.
  • Conduct website performance tests and monitor performance continually.

Technical Qualification and Skills

  •  Proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Expertise in WordPress development, including plugin and theme customization.
  • Experience with Shopify website development and customization.
  • Familiarity with database technologies like MySql, Postgres, MongoDB, and PHP frameworks like CakePHP, YII, CI, Laravel.
  • Familiarity with the Liquid programming language for Shopify theme creation.
