Pega Developer


  • 5-10 years’ experience as a Developer
  • Proficiency in developing complex Pega applications, including the use of advanced features such as declarative rules, decision tables, and integrations with external systems.
  • Experience in integrating Pega applications with external systems using Pega Connectors, REST/SOAP services, and message queues.
  • Knowledge of building user interfaces in Pega, including harnesses, sections, dynamic layouts, and responsive design.
  • Understanding of Pega's data model and ability to design and optimize data structures, data pages, and data transforms.
  • Knowledge of implementing security measures and access control mechanisms in Pega applications.
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision, prioritizing and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to adapt in fast paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • This position will be responsible for programming, fixing, executing and versioning existing code for multiple applications.
  • Provide support of existing in-house and 3rd party applications and reporting in a fast-paced environment. Perform break-fix analysis on existing code and trouble shoot issues reported via end-users both internal and external.
  • Participate in medium to large size projects or Scrum teams which may require new code or enhancements.
  • Participate in the development agile process
  • Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
  • Manage, guide and mentor development support team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Development experience with programming languages
  • SQL database or relational database skills
