As part of their expansion, they are seeking a Head of Finance and Accounts for their Bangalore, India location to strengthen their operations in the region.

Position Summary:

- They are seeking a Head of Finance & Accounts to oversee the companys financial accounts, managing day-to-day accounting functions and ensuring timely closing of books.

- This role includes responsibilities for periodic bank reconciliations, managing provisions and accruals, maintaining full ledger oversight, and handling vendor and customer payments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Independently supervise and manage day-to-day accounting, finance, and taxation matters,

including bookkeeping, monthly and annual closure of accounts, mis reporting, audit coordination, finalization of annual accounts, and audit documentation.

- Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes, including GST, TDS, and other income tax related topics.

- Liaise with banks and regulatory authorities to ensure the smooth functioning of the business

while ensuring adherence to all statutory timelines.

- Supervising processing of the payroll, professional tax, PF and ESI compliances and coordination with accounts team and external consultants.

- Intercompany reporting and reconciliations with global headquarter in Germany and Managing and leading a team of accountants, providing guidance and direction to ensure all

accounting activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.

- This professional oversees the work of the team members and ensures that they are trained and meet their objectives.

- Designing and strengthening the internal financial controls and SOPs of Finance & Accounts

function.

- Budgeting and forecasting, this professional also monitors actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations to the global headquarter in Chartered accountant (CA) qualification, with a minimum of 5 years of

relevant work experience.

- Good knowledge of Indian accounting standards (IndAS), direct taxation, indirect taxation

(GST/customs), international taxation/transfer pricing, individual taxation, company law,

government promotion schemes, audit documentation (tax/transfer pricing).

- Experience of working in a manufacturing set up.

- Experience in budgeting & controlling would be an added advantage.

- Should have experience of handling export & import transactions.

- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills. Must be detail oriented.

- Possess well-developed interpersonal and communication, skills in Hindi, English and Kannada.

- Must be highly motivated and can function independently and multi-task.

- Expert computer skills proficient in Microsoft office, knowledge of tally package or other

accounting package or ERP system.

- Positive attitude towards work, ability to work handle a team, solution-oriented approach to the requirement, flexibility to adapt to changing business situations & willingness to learn and grow with the company are some of the qualities we seek in the candidate.

Reporting Structure:

- The Head of Finance and Accounts will report to the Function Site Manager Finance, and Director at the global headquarters in Germany, as well as to the CFO of India
