Your mission is to build a seamless, high-conversion, and 100% regulatory-compliant payment experience. You will be the go-to expert for our engineering, legal, and finance teams on all matters related to RBI/NPCI guidelines, gateway integrations, and payment performance. This role requires a blend of deep technical understanding, rigorous compliance knowledge, and proven leadership in project delivery.Technical Product Manager - PaymentsJob Location: OneCard - West Bay, HQ5X+786, Shambhu Vihar Society, Pallod Farms II, Nankude Vasti, Aundh, Pune, Maharashtra 411045, IndiaWhat you will do:Product Development & Delivery: Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and analysts to define, build, and ship payment features. You will own the entire product lifecycle, from PRD to launch and iteration, and are accountable for the results.Regulatory & Compliance Ownership: Act as the single point of contact for all RBI, NPCI, and other regulatory mandates. You will proactively track new circulars and translate complex legal guidelines into actionable technical product requirements to ensure 100% compliance.Payments Performance & Optimization: Obsessively monitor and improve payment success rates ($PSR$). You will analyze transaction failures, optimize checkout funnels, and manage payment gateway (PG) relationships to reduce costs and improve reliability.Technical Specification: Author clear technical PRDs, user stories, and API specifications. Manage the technical details of the complete transaction lifecycle (auth, capture, settlement, refunds, chargebacks).What are we looking for:Essential Qualifications:3-5 years in product management, with at least 2-3 years laser-focused on the Indian payments ecosystem.Proven Delivery & Leadership: Demonstrable track record of leading teams (big or small) to successfully deliver complex projects (e.g., new PG integrations, compliance rollouts, checkout overhauls) from concept to launch.Technical Knack (Non-Negotiable): Strong technical background. You must be able to read API documentation, understand system architecture, and have high-bandwidth conversations with engineers to resolve complex issues.Deep Regulatory & Payments Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the Indian payments stack (UPI, Cards, Tokenization, Netbanking) and transaction flows (settlements, nodal accounts, refunds). You must have hands-on experience building products compliant with RBI and NPCI guidelines.Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong analytical skills (SQL, analytics tools) to diagnose problems, identify trends, and make data-backed decisions.Ownership: A "get-it-done" attitude.
