Manager - Supply Chain - Agro Chemicals

We are retained by a leading agro chemical company that is well established and has a growing business to hire a Supply Chain Manager.


This role will oversee and optimize the supply chain operations of the organisation by executing centralized plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural supply chain management, with a keen understanding of logistics, procurement, inventory management, distribution processes and production planning.


Please note: previous experience in Agro chemical industry is a must for this role so only apply if you have done that.


Responsibilities include:


- Align SCM strategies with business strategies and market dynamics.


- Develop and streamline SCM processes and manage Demand planning.


- Ensure implementation of SCM excellence tools and approach.


- Effectively collaborate with all stakeholders including retail sales marketing and finance and reduce cost.


- Support strategy execution for logistics and warehousing.


- Implement financial metrics and associated KPIs for supply-chain network and vendors.


To fit the bill:


- 16+ years in Supply chain with exposure to agro chemical industries.


- Handled overall SCM along with executing cost saving strategies.


- Understanding of warehousing, procurement, production planning and SAP.


- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.


- MBA in (Logistics Management / Operations) preferred.
