Our client, a leading player in their domain with exports to several countries across the globe have entered into a JV with a Global Technology company.


The company is setting up a new greenfield project with investment of 165 mn USD through a SPV and is looking for a suitable candidate to manage the finance of the SPV including the following:

Role requirement

  • Preparation, monitoring and control of capital expenditure plan
  • Preparation of long-term projections and return calculation
  • Preparation of business case and liaison with banks
  • Set up Finance process including Procure to Pay process for a new company
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of capex and other expenditure
  • Tax and other compliance of SPV
  • Audit of SPV
  • Independently handle a new company from a project management perspective


Skills, Competencies & Experience (Illustration in next section)

  • Good understanding of project management including capital budgeting, project finance , internal financial controls , vendor payment , accounting of capex
  • SAP exposure in capital budgeting and P to P module. Exposure to operate Tally will be added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good leadership skills to develop and lead a team


Decision Making:

  • Decision making is required at intermediate level


Collaboration:

  • With the Project Team


This is a Head role for the Project and will be a key / senior Finance resource. The person will build his or her own team of at least 4-5 people and may have to operate from Gurgaon for the first 3 to 6 months before moving to the plant site in Dahej, Gujarat. Key towns closer to Dahej ( for place of residence) can be Bharuch or Vadodra.


We are looking for a qualified CA with 12 to 18 years of total experience (having worked in a greenfield project) including Project Finance and Accounts covering entire accounting, day to day transactions, projects related requirements, compliance and Project Finance including Liasoning with banks, fund management.


This project is going to be a state-of-the-art fully automated plant and first of its kind in the world but with proven technology. The business team is very bullish on the future prospects as it is in a sunrise industry and people joining at this early stage can be assured of outstanding career prospects and professional satisfaction of setting up things and leaving a leagacy.
