Cluster Head - Process Safety


Location: Bharuch, Gujarat


Company: For one of our Chemical Client based at Dahej Bharuch which is having multiple Plants in Gujarat.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Develop, implement, and maintain process safety management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Lead the process safety team in identifying and assessing process safety risks, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to plant operations to ensure that process safety principles are integrated into all aspects of the operation.
  • Conduct process hazard analyses (PHA), risk assessments, and other process safety studies to identify potential hazards and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Review and approve process safety-related procedures, policies, and training programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that process safety considerations are incorporated into new projects and process modifications.
  • Lead incident investigations related to process safety incidents and develop recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to process safety and ensure that the company remains in compliance.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree/Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering with around 15+ years of Experience in large Chemical/Agro Chemical company heading Process Safety functions.

- Strong knowledge of process safety regulations and standards, such as OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP).

- Experience leading process hazard analyses (PHA) and other process safety studies.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Process Safety Professional) are a plus.
