Now we’re looking for aFounding Data Engineerto build the data layer that powers everything.⚙️ What You’ll Work On You’ll own the foundation of our data infrastructure — from large-scale collection to actionable insights. Build and scale systems toscrape and process hundreds of thousands of company websitesandmillions of job listings Design and maintainETL pipelinesthat continuously collect, clean, and refresh data Define and evolve ourdata modelfor companies, roles, salaries, org structure, and growth UseLLMs and NLPto extract structured data from unstructured text (job posts, bios, reviews, etc.) Label and classify companies (agency vs in-house, vertical, size, growth stage, tech stack) Collaborate with product and design to surface insights in filters, dashboards, and salary tools Help us transform the web’s chaos into structured, reliable, and transparent career dataWhat We’re Looking For You’re equal parts engineer, data hacker, and builder. You love structuring chaos and building scalable systems that turn raw data into usable truth.Must-Have Skills 3+ years inData Engineering ,Applied AI , orData Infrastructure StrongPythonskills (web scraping, APIs, ETL pipelines) Experience scraping and processing large datasets (Playwright, Scrapy, Async frameworks, etc.) Understanding ofETL design ,data modeling , andcloud infra(AWS, GCP, etc.) Familiarity withLLMs/NLPfor extraction and classification (OpenAI, LangChain, embeddings, etc.) Comfortable in0→1 environments— you move fast, solve problems, and thrive on autonomyBonus Points Experience with HRTech, analytics, or data aggregation products Worked with LLMs to extract or label structured data Familiarity with marketing or SaaS data (DSPs, CRMs, analytics platforms) Experience building dashboards or visualization toolsCompensation & Benefits $3,500 USD/month Fully remote(work in your local timezone) 35 total days off(PTO, holidays, and sick leave combined) High autonomy and ownershipover your domain Bonus / revenue-share potentialafter 6 months Join early and shape the culture, product, and data strategy from the ground upWhy This Role Matters This is an opportunity to build thedata engine behind a new category— career transparency at scale.
