Role Overview :

We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support custom data automation and integration solutions between internal applications and third-party systems.

You will work closely with the Integration and Implementation teams to automate complex workflows, handle data mapping, and manage secure data exchanges via APIs and SFTP.

This role is critical to ensuring seamless client onboarding and system integrations across various enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom data integration tools and automation scripts

- Build small-scale applications for automating payroll and benefits-related tasks

- Develop and maintain data connectors using RESTful APIs, SFTP, and custom scripts

- Collaborate with implementation teams to support integration with 3rd-party applications

- Analyze data mapping requirements and provide solutions for clean, accurate data transfer

- Communicate directly with clients and vendors to troubleshoot integration issues

- Generate and support complex Report Writer reports for internal and external stakeholders

- Ensure data security, validation, and audit compliance in all integration processes

- Participate in testing and validation of data pipelines and APIs during implementations

- Document workflows, integration standards, and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 4-6 years of experience in data integration, automation, or application development

- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and Python

- Proficient in SQL for querying and data transformation

- Solid experience working with RESTful APIs for data exchange and integration

- Hands-on knowledge of Visual Studio and Azure cloud services

- Strong understanding of SFTP protocols and secure data transfers

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with US-based teams and clients
