Position- GWI Inspector
Location- Kuwait
Job summary
The purpose of this role is to monitor the efficiency of the inspected pieces form Inspectors conform the quality and to meet the daily target.
Key responsibilities
Receiving the Green wares from dryer and allocating the pieces for production
Duties :
Responsible in checking of defects such as: clay crack, blister, pinhole, poor finish, body dirt, bad shape and rim hole clog both water closet and non-water closet product.
Responsible to apply kerosene with the use of paint brush to all corners of the piece wherein the possible cracks appear. If the crack is superficial the GWI will repair. If the crack is non- repairable the piece will be placed at the designated skid or trolley for rejects.
Responsible to remove blister, pinhole, poor finish, body dirt, bad shape and rim hole clog. If such defects are not repairable the piece should be placed at the designated skid or trolley and return to casting shop for proper trouble shooting and action plan.
Responsible to clean the piece with the use of scouring pad, air blowing and sponging with water prior to bring to glazing.
Responsible to record the number of piece per skid or trolley between the good and rejected piece.
Responsible to transport the skid or trolley from staging area to GWI both and glazing area.
Responsible in maintaining cleanliness in their working area.
Experience:
1. Min.5 years of experience in GWI department in organization
2. Ability to ensure that all works conform to the company's quality system
Skills and Abilities:
1. Able to troubleshoot the defects in Bench, Beam, and Battery and Machine casting.
2. Leadership skills
3. Strong employee and peer relationship skills and team work.
4. Strong analytical abilities.
Physical requirements Should be able to work in all atmospheric conditions.
