Assistant Dean

Job Location - Ahmedabad

Karnavati University (KU), an integrated and modern university, located in Gujarat (India), comprising six colleges that offer courses in Design, Management, Law, Liberal Arts & Mass Communication, Dentistry and Computational Intelligence.

Unitedworld School of Business (UWSB) focuses on preparing students with the skills and experience they need to succeed in the business world. Explore emerging and innovative business trends, and develop valuable soft skills through personal development.

Pursuant to the above, we are looking for Assistant Dean, with exceptional talent, to provide effective leadership, management, and oversight of academic programs, faculty development, student affairs, and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership:

- Shape academic strategies and curricular enhancements.

- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and institutional policies.

2. Faculty and Student Support:

- Mentor faculty for teaching and research excellence.

- Enhance student recruitment, retention, and advising efforts.

3. Resource Management:

- Assist in budget allocation and financial stewardship.

- Coordinate efficient operational processes.

4. Strategic Planning:

- Contribute to the department's strategic alignment with institutional goals.

- Identify emerging trends for proactive responses.

5. Engagement and Collaboration:

- Foster partnerships with industry, alumni, and the community.

- Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and research.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Ph.D. in management or a closely related field - a must.

2. Proven experience in academic leadership, faculty development, and program management.

3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

4. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.

6. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity.

7. Proficiency in relevant technology tools and academic administration software.

Preferring Candidate from IIM Edu Background with relevant experience.
