Senior UX Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Developer to join our product team (company name confidential) at our Noida office. In this role, you will combine strong front-end development skills with a keen eye for design and user experience to build a SaaS web application that is both practical and engaging for users. You will be responsible for translating pixel-perfect UI designs from Figma into high-quality code using Next.js and React, ensuring a seamless and responsive user interface across devices. This is a full-time, on-site position (Permanent Work from Office in Noida) working with a global team and US-based stakeholders, so excellent English communication and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Translate Designs to Code : Convert high-fidelity designs and prototypes from Figma into pixel-perfect front-end code using React and Next.js. Ensure design fidelity in implementation so that the finished product matches the intended UI/UX specifications down to the last pixel.

- Responsive Web Development : Develop responsive web pages that provide an optimal user experience on a wide range of devices from mobile phones and tablets to desktop monitors and 4K screens. Use modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, CSS Grid) and adaptive design strategies to maintain consistency across UI Components & Design System : Build and maintain reusable UI components, adhering to our design guidelines. Leverage design libraries like Material-UI and utility frameworks like Tailwind CSS to implement a cohesive look and feel. Work within a structured design system and grid system to enforce consistency in layout, spacing, and visual hierarchy.

- Cross-Browser & Accessible Interfaces : Ensure the applications user interface is cross-browser compatible and meets accessibility standards (following WCAG guidelines) so that it is usable by all customers. This includes implementing semantic HTML and ARIA roles and testing for accessibility compliance.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize front-end code for performance and scalability. Implement best practices for loading resources, code-splitting in Next.js, and optimizing CSS/JS to ensure fast, smooth user interactions.

- Collaboration with Design & Backend Teams : Work closely with UX/UI designers to review designs, provide feedback from a development perspective, and clarify requirements. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs seamlessly, ensuring the end-to-end user experience is smooth and consistent.

- Client Interaction : Interact directly with US-based clients and stakeholders as needed, demonstrating fluent English communication and professionalism. Gather requirements, discuss design/UX improvements, and provide progress updates with minimal supervision, adapting to feedback and changes effectively.

- Leadership & Mentorship : Take a senior role in the front-end team this includes mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and guiding best practices for clean code and effective UI development. Lead by example in following agile processes, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high code quality. You will help uphold a feedback-driven team culture and ensure the front-end team Continuous Improvement : Stay attuned to the latest UI/UX design trends and front-end technologies, and proactively propose improvements or new approaches to enhance the user experience. Technical Skills and Experience :

- Experience : 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in front-end or UX/UI development, preferably building SaaS products or complex web applications. Proven track record of developing user interfaces that are intuitive, robust, and scalable.

- HTML/CSS Mastery : Deep expertise in HTML5 and CSS3 is required you should have extensive and practical knowledge of HTML and CSS, as it is a must for any senior front-end developer. You are an expert in writing vanilla CSS (without always relying on frameworks) to implement layouts precisely, and youre proficient with modern CSS layout systems like Flexbox and CSS Grid.

- JavaScript and Frameworks : Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+). React.js experience is essential, and familiarity with Next.js is required (including server-side rendering and Next.js project structure). Experience with TypeScript in React/Next.js projects is a plus for writing robust, maintainable code.

- Tailwind & Material-UI : Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS (utility-first CSS framework) and Material-UI (React component library) is expected. You should be capable of building responsive, theme-consistent UIs using these tools, as well as extending or customizing them with your own CSS when necessary.

- Design Systems & Grids : Solid understanding of design systems and grid systems for UI development. You should be comfortable working with a pre-defined design system or contributing to the evolution of one, ensuring adherence to standard spacing, typography scales, and grid layouts for a polished, unified product
design.

- Responsive & Mobile-First Development : Demonstrated ability to implement mobile-first responsive design principles in projects. You should know how to effectively use media queries or responsive utilities and test across multiple devices and browsers.

- Accessibility & SEO : Good grasp of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to build inclusive UIs (proper use of alt text, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation support, etc.). Basic understanding of on-page SEO practices (semantic HTML, optimizing for performance) in the context of SPAs is beneficial.

- Version Control : Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience using platforms like GitHub/GitLab for code collaboration, performing pull request reviews, and managing branches in a team environment.

- Testing and Debugging : Experience in debugging front-end issues across various browsers/devices.

- Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) and tools for UI testing or Storybook for component development is a plus (to ensure robustness of the UI components).

Soft Skills and Other Requirements :

- Communication : Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are absolutely essential. You should be able to liaise with US-based clients and team members fluently, conveying technical information in an understandable manner. Clear communication and active listening will be key, as youll often discuss
requirements and feedback directly with international stakeholders.

- Autonomy and Ownership : A self-driven and proactive work ethic is required. As a senior developer, you are comfortable working with minimal supervision you take ownership of your deliverables and drive them to completion. You are detail-oriented in your work (noticing nuances in design and ensuring high quality)
and you value code reviews as a means to uphold quality.

- Leadership & Mentoring : Proven ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a positive team environment. You should possess leadership qualities to guide and inspire other team members. A senior front-end developer is expected to have the leadership abilities to manage and mentor a team, providing guidance and setting goals, and fostering a respectful, collaborative work culture.

- Team Collaboration : Strong teamwork skills able to work closely with cross-functional teams (design, product management, backend developers, QA, etc.). Being a team player who can coordinate with others, share knowledge, and adapt to feedback is crucial for this role.

- Client & Stakeholder Interaction : Prior experience working directly with clients (especially international or US-based clients) is highly desirable. You should be adept at handling client meetings, understanding client needs, and delivering updates in a professional manner. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in an agile environment with a remote client are important.

- Problem-Solving : Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. A user-focused mindset is important you should be capable of thinking from the end-users perspective to identify UX issues and propose front-end solutions.

- Adaptability & Learning : Passion for continuous learning in the rapidly evolving front-end/UX field. We expect you to stay updated with the latest design trends and new tools in UI/UX development, even though it may not be formally demanded this demonstrates your enthusiasm and ensures our product keeps up with modern standards.
