Role: Solution Principal – Life Sciences [India]
As the solution principal focused on life sciences, you will be part of the Industry Practices and Solutions Group of Life Sciences and Healthcare business vertical of HCLTech. In this role, you will play a critical role in the acceleration of digital business growth in life sciences industry for HCLTech. The role is designed to anchor and orchestrate client focused solutions in the context of opportunity conversions and/or opportunity creations.
A strong understanding of client needs, consultative approach to solution architecture and an ability to stitch together winning proposals in collaboration with multiple contributing teams are critical success factors. Experience with newer ways of solutioning custom app development, ASM, packaged applications, and data/analytics bringing together vertical and horizontal nuances for a winning proposition and proposal will be key.
Key responsibilities
Participate in all medium to large deals and own the deals from a solution standpoint.
Represent and defend the solution in front of the clients and advisors; run workshops as needed
Be the vertical solution architect bringing the vertical domain nuances together with the digital technologies to create a winning solution; work with life sciences practice teams closely on proactive and reactive pursuits.
Collaborate with all the HCLTech’s technology CoEs and practices and other presales teams to address client requirements in a cohesive fashion
Learn and be up to date on all HCLTech’s tools and accelerators that are essential in building a stronger proposal
Contribute actively to sizing, pricing, commercial models etc.
Work with the vertical client solutioning a.k.a. pursuit teams and help/guide them with efficient pursuit management
Be the resource person on HCLTech’s presence in life sciences industry; contribute actively to the overall strategy and execution of the growth plans in life sciences
Requirements -
Advanced degree in science, engineering, technology
Enterprise architecture experience / understanding
Experience in presales – in digital / vertical solution architecture and/or consulting capacity
Experience in life sciences domain or industry
- Experience in working with, and managing global teams
- Superior articulation, presentation skills
- Key attributes - client centricity; build orientation; self-drive; collaborative
- Life sciences IT/consulting delivery experience desired but not a must
- Typical experience profile – Minimum of 10 years; no maximum.
Location – Chennai / Noida / Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad / Others (open to discussion)
