You willown the full lifecycle of AI models , turning research breakthroughs into practical, scalable solutions that enhance cognitive wellness and optimize mental performance.This is a role for someone who thrives onautonomy, ownership, and high-stakes challenges , who is energized bybuilding systems from zero , and who takes pride indelivering tangible results that create measurable impact . You will collaborate withproduct, research, and engineering teams , directly influencing the architecture, performance, and deployment of AI modules thatenhance cognitive performance and operational outcomes .What You’ll DoArchitect & Build from Zero:Lead thedesign, development, and deployment of LLMs and cognitive AI modulesfrom scratch, turning research prototypes intoscalable, production-ready systems . End-to-End LLM Development:Design, train, fine-tune, and deployLarge Language Modelsusing PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers. Edge & Private Deployments:Integrate LLMs foron-device, local, and private deploymentsusing tools likeOllama, LangChain, LM Studio, or llama.cpp , optimized forperformance, efficiency, and privacy . Drive Cognitive Intelligence:Build systems thatanalyze focus, stress, and cognitive signals , delivering actionable insights that directly enhance human performance. Lead NLP & Search Innovation:Ownprompt engineering, embedding strategies, and vector search pipelines(FAISS, Qdrant, Weaviate) to enableintelligent, real-time decision-making . Translate Research into Impact:Turnstate-of-the-art AI and cognitive researchinto deployable systems thatdeliver measurable real-world outcomes . Collaborate & Influence:Work cross-functionally toshape solutions, establish engineering standards, and drive operational excellencein every system you touch. Stay Ahead:Maintain deep awareness ofopen-source and proprietary LLM ecosystems(e.g., Meta, OpenAI, Mistral) and leverage emerging tools to continuously enhance Basil Health’s AI capabilities.Who You AreMust-Have:B.Tech/M.Tech inComputer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineeringfrom a top-tier institute (IIT, NIT, BITS). 3–5+ yearsof hands-on experience in AI/ML, deep learning, and LLM development. Demonstrated success inbuilding AI models from scratch and deploying end-to-end solutions . Expertise withTransformers(GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon, Claude) and tools likePython, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Hugging Face, LangChain . Deep understanding ofNLP, attention mechanisms, and model fine-tuning .Preferred:Experience withcognitive data, biosignals, or time-series analytics . Deployingcustom-trained LLMs on proprietary datasets . Familiarity withRAG pipelines, multi-modal AI models, and cloud platforms(AWS, GCP, Azure). Published research, patents, or open-source contributions in AI/ML.
