We’re passionate about our people, our customers, our values, and our cultureLocation:This is role in the Logistics Department for a greenfield project being setup in Hinjewadi.This is a work from office role and will be working 6 days a week from the factory location in Hinjewadi, Phase 1.Position Summary:Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices in logistics.Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, Customs and customers.Prepare and review documentation including commercial invoices, Packing List, Bills of lading, COO etc.Follow up with CHA on all import documentation, including Bills of Entry.Monitor and report on Import & export costs, duties, taxes and freight charges.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as customs laws and trade agreements.Ensure carrier performance and compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.Keep record of all Export-Import shipments along with documents.Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process.Working with freight forwarders and seeking container bookings on time.Closing BOEs with BankCreating MIS reports for Import and ExportKnowledge of various Export Schemes and import benefit schemes.Knowledge of various Import Schemes - Advance License, Brand RateDeliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.Coordinating with local logistics service providers for vehicles to achieve on-time delivery.Key Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.3 to 7 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on import/export, trucking, and ocean freight.Experience in a manufacturing company importing raw materials and exporting finished goods.Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance documentation.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.B.Com/MComWhat We Offer:Competitive salary100% employer contribution for medical/dental/vision insuranceQuick Facts : INDUSTRY : Baby Tech - The Infant and childcare market is $136B every year.TYPE : Privately held, VC backedLOCATION : Hinjewadi Phase 1, PuneFollow us on LinkedInSounds like a good fit for you? :Are you excited to work collaboratively with design, product, and engineering?Do you thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments that require you to wear many hats and think on your feet?Are you an independent thinker, a fast learner, and you're hungry to be a part of a high-performing team?Come join usCradlewise is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against otherwise qualified applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, mental or physical disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender orientation or expression, marital status or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic under applicable federal or state law.
