Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion PPM Functional Consultant to join our team in Bangalore (Wipro Kodathi). This is a full-time, 5-day work-from-office role, and we are looking for candidates with a notice period of 15-30 days maximum. You will be responsible for configuring Fusion Projects (PPM), translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions, and driving the functional design for extensions, integrations, and reports. A strong understanding of Fusion PPM capabilities, its connectivity with Fusion Financials, and expertise in data conversion strategies are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure Fusion Projects (PPM) modules, leveraging a deep understanding of PPM capabilities, downstream processes, and its seamless connectivity with Fusion Financials.
- Map complex business requirements directly to Fusion Configurations, ensuring optimal system utilization and alignment with organizational goals.
- Define comprehensive Configuration Documents that detail system setup and functional design.
- Write detailed functional specifications for custom extensions, integrations, and reports within the Fusion environment.
- Conduct Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions effectively, demonstrating out-of-the-box reporting capabilities and gathering user feedback.
- Translate intricate business requirements for integrations, extensions, conversions, and reports into clear, actionable functional designs.
- Define detailed functional and technical specifications for integrated solutions, utilizing Fusion PPM and Financials APIs/FBDI integrations.
- Design custom system processes and flows for integrated solutions, enhancing overall business efficiency.
- Map data from legacy systems with Fusion PPM and Fusion Financials modules for accurate and efficient data conversion.
- Identify the most appropriate integration capabilities (e.g., API vs. FBDI) for converting and onboarding data, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Identify the correct configurations for data conversion and cutover strategies, facilitating smooth system transitions.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant experience as an Oracle Fusion PPM Functional Consultant.
- Strong expertise in configuring Oracle Fusion Projects (PPM).
- Deep understanding of Fusion PPM capabilities, including project costing, billing, and project control.
- Proven knowledge of Fusion PPM's connectivity and integration with Fusion Financials modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR).
- Familiarity with out-of-the-box reporting capabilities within Fusion Applications.
- Experience in conducting Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions.
- Proficiency in mapping business requirements to Fusion configurations and defining detailed configuration documents.
- Experience in writing functional specifications for extensions, integrations, and reports.
- Basic understanding of Fusion PPM APIs, FBDIs (File-Based Data Import), and reporting tools like BIP (BI Publisher) & OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence).
- Familiarity with Fusion BPM workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business users and technical teams.
