Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Engagement & Experience Delivery

  • Welcome guests and provide orientation on the local environment and experiences offered.
  • Curate and conduct customized nature-based itineraries in line with guest interests.
  • Lead safaris (vehicle/boat), nature trails, birdwatching, and village or cultural excursions.
  • Deliver engaging, informative, and safety-conscious commentary during all experiences.
  • Share captivating stories, ecological insights, and local folklore to enrich guest understanding.

Interpretation & Field Presence

  • Act as the eyes and ears of the guest in the field, interpreting wildlife behavior, signs, and habitats.
  • Provide authentic insights into local flora, fauna, and indigenous traditions.
  • Maintain a strong presence on-ground to enhance the overall guest journey.

Team Support & Operational Readiness

  • Collaborate with fellow Naturalists and Guest Services teams to ensure seamless activity flow.
  • Maintain and check readiness of all gear and equipment before each experience.
  • Ensure all guest-facing experiential zones are clean, safe, and well-prepared.

Documentation & Feedback

  • Record guest participation and activity details in daily logs.
  • Support the collection of guest feedback and take proactive steps for improvement.
  • Contribute to storytelling and marketing by sharing photographs and experience-based write-ups.

Responsible Tourism & Sustainability

  • Uphold Bamboo Forest's commitment to eco-sensitive tourism practices.
  • Educate guests about conservation efforts and sustainability initiatives.
  • Participate in RT activities and propose eco-friendly enhancements.

Desired Skills & Attributes

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian wildlife, ecology, and regional biodiversity (Tadoba knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and guest engagement skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, alert, and enthusiastic in dynamic field conditions.
  • Familiarity with basic technology, MS Office, and photography.
  • Passion for conservation and community-based tourism.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and upgrade skills through training modules.
