Department:Production / Engineering Experience : 8–10 Years ( Production, Quality, sheet Metals, Plating ) Location:Faridabad Industry:Manufacturing(Drawer Channel)Competitive SalaryJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Sheet Metals Industry(drawer channel manufacturing) . The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in sheet metal design and fabrication, electroplating processes, and assembly line operations. The role involves leading process improvements, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing manufacturing efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage mechanical design, development, and production processes for drawer channels. Supervise and optimize sheet metal fabrication processes including punching, bending, forming. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for plating (ZINC/CED) quality and process control. Develop and implement assembly line setups and fixtures to improve efficiency and reduce rework. Analyze product failures and implement corrective/preventive actions. Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Ensure compliance with ISO / quality management systems and company standards. Prepare and maintain documentation, BOMs, and process sheets. Support new product development (NPD) and continuous process improvement initiatives.Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Fabrication and related manufacturing processes. Expertise in Plating and Surface Treatment techniques. Understanding of mechanical assemblies and tolerance management. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing and Kaizen practices preferred. Ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality.Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.Preferred Industry Background: Furniture Hardware Manufacturing Sheet Metal / Precision Components Industry Automotive Components Manufacturing
