Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with 2-3 years of experience and strong knowledge of the Laravel framework to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using Laravel, collaborating closely with other developers and designers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

Note - This job is contract basis which is applicable for 3 months from the date of joining, the ideal candidate will be converted into full time employee on performance basis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Laravel-based applications: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code using the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to ensure smooth integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues in Laravel applications.
  • Optimize application performance: Implement best practices to ensure that applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and security.
  • Database management: Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
  • API development and integration: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as needed.
  • Contribute to project planning: Participate in the planning and estimation of project tasks, ensuring timely delivery of features.


Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in PHP and Laravel: Strong experience with the Laravel framework and a deep understanding of PHP.
  • Front-end development skills: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Database experience: Solid experience with MySQL, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing performance.
  • Version control: Proficient in using Git for version control in collaborative environments.
  • API experience: Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with other PHP frameworks: Knowledge of additional frameworks like Symfony or CodeIgniter is a plus.
  • Experience with CMS platforms: Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Agile methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Cloud services experience: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks: Basic understanding of React, or Angular is beneficial.
