Senior Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Techno-Functional SAP B1 Specialist to lead our technology initiatives and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of deep technical expertise in SAP Business One (B1) and a profound understanding of core business processes.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our ERP ecosystem, from technical implementation and system integration to process optimization and team leadership. Key Responsibilities :

SAP B1 Implementation & Customization :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP B1 modules, including Finance, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, and Production.

- Drive end-to-end SAP B1 deployments, upgrades, and enhancements.

- Customize workflows, dashboards, and reporting to align with evolving business needs, leveraging the SAP B1 SDK (Software Development Kit) for advanced development.

Techno-Functional Leadership :

- Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical designs.

- Provide expert guidance on SAP B1 capabilities and limitations to drive informed decision-making.

Systems Integration & Data Management :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP B1 with external applications such as e-commerce platforms, CRM, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) using web services (SOAP/REST) and APIs.

- Develop and execute data migration strategies to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and optimal system performance across all integrated platforms.

Process Automation & Optimization :

- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance efficiency through automation and system configuration.

- Implement best practices to improve data accuracy and reporting capabilities using tools like Crystal Reports.

Technical Support & Mentorship :

- Oversee debugging, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex SAP B1 issues.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, training materials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience & Education :

- 4- 7 years of hands-on experience in a techno-functional SAP B1 role.

- Proven track record in successfully designing, implementing, and optimizing ERP solutions.

- Educational background of B.Tech/M.Tech or BCA/MCA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges is preferred.

Technical Proficiency :

- Strong technical expertise in SAP B1 development, including the use of the SDK, DI API, and Crystal Reports.

- In-depth understanding of core SAP B1 modules and their interdependencies.

- Hands-on experience with systems integration, web services, and data migration techniques.

Tools & Technologies :

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, and other related technologies.

- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Soft Skills :

- High ownership and a "get-it-done" mindset with a strong problem-solving aptitude.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to align multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in SAP B1.

- Experience with cloud-based ERP deployments.

- Knowledge of SQL scripting and database management.

- Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry.
