Job Summary:

A front-end developer is basically a web developer who has a specialization in creating user interfaces for applications and websites. The developers work with designers to translate visual designs into functional code. They implement the layout, styling, and interactivity of a website. In addition, this includes structuring the content with HTML, applying styles with CSS, and adding interactivity with JavaScript, performing testing and maintaining technical documentation.


Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with client/end-users to understand the requirements and develop detailed problem statements / story points.
  • Design and develop responsive web applications as per the specifications.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and other team members to integrate front-end and back-end code.
  • Optimize code and assets to ensure fast load times and smooth performance.
  • Utilize techniques like code splitting, lazy loading, and minification to reduce load times.
  • Write unit tests and perform testing to ensure the robustness of the applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth user experience.

Must have:


5+ years of experience in frontend development.

Good knowledge and hands-on experience working using Agile Methodologies & ability to translate user / business requirements to technical requirements & help create User Stories for team members.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics. Relevant master’s degree or certifications is a plus

Proven experience in a React Front-end developer role.

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, React/Angular/Next JS

Experience with popular React.JS workflows such as Redux or Context APIs

Familiarity with Restful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON web tokens.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Version Control/DevOps: Good experience working with version control tools such as GIT/SVN etc, Manual deployment. Knowledge of application deployment using CI/CD, container registries, app services on cloud infrastructure.

Documentation: Designing HLD/LLD using Visio/Confluence.


Nice to Have:

Experience in DevOps to build CI/CD pipelines.
