Faculty Positions – School of Business Management (SBM), NMIMS MumbaiSpecialization Areas (Mandatory Requirement)Candidates are expected to possess demonstrated expertise through teaching, research, or industry practice in one or more of the following domains: Corporate Finance Financial Markets & Institutions Investment Management & Portfolio Analysis Banking & Financial Services Derivatives and Risk Management Business Valuation & Mergers and Acquisitions Financial Modelling and Analytics FinTech and Emerging Trends in Finance Sustainability and ESG FinancePreference will be given to candidates with: Strong research publications in reputed peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals in the above areas. Experience in curriculum design and use of innovative, technology-driven pedagogies (e.g., Bloomberg, Python for Finance, or simulation-based learning). Industry linkages, consultancy projects, or corporate training experience in the finance domain.Qualifying Criteria (As per UGC norms) Professor Ph.D. with Master’s Degree in Management / Finance / Commerce / Economics / or relevant discipline. Minimum10 yearsof teaching / industry / research / professional experience, of which at least5 yearsmust be at the level of Reader / Associate Professor or equivalent. OR Professional work experience of significant repute, recognized at national / international level as equivalent to Ph.D., with12 years’ managerial experiencein industry / profession, of which at least8 yearsshould be comparable to Reader / Associate Professor. AND Published work of high quality, with a minimum of10 research publicationsin peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Published work may also include Books, Research Periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Projects, or Patents.Associate Professor Ph.D. with Master’s Degree in Management / Finance / Commerce / Economics / or relevant discipline. Minimum8 yearsof teaching / industry / research / professional experience at managerial level. OR Professional work experience of significant repute, recognized at national / international level as equivalent to Ph.D., with10 years’ managerial experiencein industry / profession, of which at least5 yearsshould be comparable to Lecturer / Assistant Professor. AND At least7 publicationsin peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Published work may also include Books, Research Periodicals, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Projects, or Patents.Assistant Professor Ph.D. with First Class Master’s Degree in Business Management / Finance / Commerce / Economics / or relevant discipline. At leasttwo research paperspublished from Ph.D. work (minimum one in a refereed journal). At leasttwo papers presentedbased on Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agencies.
