We’ve grown sales 3x in the last 12 months and served more than 30,00,000 customers.Role Brief :This role demands a candidate with a strong foundation in legal principles, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to assist in managing contracts, litigation, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters effectively in a dynamic business environment.Roles and Responsibilities:Prepare and review a variety of commercial contracts, including NDAs, manufacturing agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other business-related documents.Assist in drafting and reviewing responses to legal notices, plaints, written statements and support dispute resolution processes. Coordinate with external counsels on litigation matters and ensure timely updates and follow-ups and maintain the litigation tracker.Support the filing and management of trademarks, copyrights, and patents to ensure all intellectual property of the company are safeguarded.Provide legal support on new product launches, collaborations, and campaigns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws (FSSAI, AYUSH, ASCI, Consumer Protection, etc.).Maintain organized and updated records of executed contracts, legal opinions, and other relevant documents.Assist in researching and reviewing new legal and regulatory developments to ensure compliance.Liaise with authorities for compliance queries, show-cause responses, and regulatory submissions.Lead periodic training sessions for internal teams on compliance and contractual awareness.Basic Qualifications and required skill-set: Graduate in law with a legal experience of 4-5 years working in a law firm or in a corporate legal department as an in-house counsel preferably in the FMCG industry.Willingness to stay updated on evolving legal and regulatory landscapes and apply learnings in the organization.Partner with business, marketing, and operations teams to proactively identify legal risks and provide pragmatic solutions.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across teams.Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
