Job Summary :
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of platforms and solutions within our Centre of Technical Excellence.
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather and analyze data, identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes and solutions, improve user experiences, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Requirements Gathering :
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and document comprehensive business requirements, encompassing functionality, data, UI/UX, and reporting needs.
2. Process Improvement :
Evaluate current platform capabilities, processes, and workflows to pinpoint opportunities for streamlining, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
3. Reporting and Documentation :
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, business process diagrams and reports
4. Decision making and strategic planning :
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
5. User Experience (UX) Analysis :
- Collaborate with UX designers, business stakeholders, and platform users to optimize the user experience, ensuring usability and intuitiveness.
6. Quality Assurance :
- Participate actively in testing and quality assurance activities to validate new features and changes, ensuring they meet requirements and are defect-free.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend further enhancements.
7. Stakeholder Communication :
- Effectively communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Technical Analysis :
- Analyze current platform performance, identify technical KPIs, and develop improvement roadmaps.
9. Project Management :
- Support project planning, task tracking, and resource coordination activities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst/ Project manager preferably within the financial industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of banking processes, financial products, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Excel, JIRA, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating effectively across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies.
