Your role as a Assistant PD Merchandiser is to service a group of premium buyers and provide them with end to end garmenting solutions. The Apparel Merchandiser is responsible for delivering high quality garments in a timely fashion and ensuring that cost effective solutions are provided for both the buyer and Creatnet Services. You will be coordinating with Merchandising Manager(MM), technicians, pattern masters, internal and external sourcing vendors, junior merchandisers, designers and production/sampling incharges to create garments as per buyer seasons and specifications.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Understanding team goals: revenue goal, delivery goal
- Understand annual, quarterly and monthly goals
- Understand customer: calendar, org structure, requirements, approval processes, operating systems, target price points, selling strategy,
- In collaboration with Design & CPs, creating Customer Profiles with all the relevant details
- Work closely with CP to plan for monthly sales and revenues
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:
Within 24h of receiving tech pack
- Give brief (in style run through meet) to Technician, Sampling coordinator, Fabric Merchant, Trim Manager
- Raise alert to customer WITHIN 3 days (of receiving tech pack) in case there's challenge with production feasibility, timelines feasibility, cost
Through the PD Process
- Create PD TNA and maintain timelines
- Share weekly PD updates to customers
- Maintain Weekly plans for Pattern, Proto, SMS maintained with Technicians, Sampling coord
- Holding a Product Integrity Meeting: with Quality, Technician, PPC and FM. Where products are analyzed to align on call-outs on timelines, production feasibility, quality and cost.
- Maintain Weekly product integrity plan tech, QA, PPC, FM, Trim Manager
- Raise timely alerts a week ahead in case of timeline changes, production challenges,
- Sharing pictures and taking approvals of proto before its dispatched
- Updating courier slides , sending AWBS
- Invoicing if protos are paid, and notifying accounts team once payments are brought in
- Ensure customer gives proto payment timely Not sending proto until payment received
- Before Proto goes: prices to be communicated
- Call outs: price targets being low, production feasibility, timelines feasibility WITHIN 3 days
