Job Summary:

The Accounting Team Lead at Finanshels.com will oversee the daily operations of the accounting team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to clients. This role involves managing Senior Accounting Executives, maintaining accounting standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Accounting Team Lead will play a crucial role in achieving departmental objectives of service quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Supervision:Lead, mentor, and develop Senior Accounting Executives.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Accounting Operations:Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in transaction processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Implement and monitor accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Quality Control and Risk Management:Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial records to identify and address discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Client Relationship Management:Work closely with the Account Manager - Finance to ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction.
Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Process Improvement and Efficiency:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Leverage technology and automation to streamline accounting operations.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and make data-driven decisions.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to internal stakeholders and clients.
Support the Account Manager - Finance in financial planning and budgeting activities.
