Job Role : Embedded Linux Camera DeveloperExperience : 4 to 8 YearsLocation : BangaloreKey Responsibilities : - Design and develop camera drivers and middleware for embedded Linux systems- Implement and optimize image processing pipelines including 3A algorithms, histogram, and color correction- Integrate and debug camera features and ensure reliable performance- Interface Linux applications with kernel drivers and hardware components- Conduct unit testing and resolve software bugs and integration issues- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams for end-to-end solution developmentTechnical Skills : - Strong programming skills in C and C++- Experience with Linux kernel drivers, camera subsystems, and middleware- Good understanding of camera pipelines 3A (Auto Focus, Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance), histogram, color correction, and image formats- Hands-on experience with Media Controller, V4L2, and CSI2 interfaces- Familiarity with multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer, OpenGL, V4L2, or DRM- Knowledge of Linux system calls, multithreading, and inter-process communication- Proficiency with debugging tools like GDB, KDB, and system tracing tools- Exposure to Android HAL for camera is a strong advantage (ref:hirist.tech)
