Job Description :We're looking for a highly skilled Kafka Platform Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Kafka-based event streaming solutions for our clients. You'll be a key player in ensuring seamless integration with client applications and providing expert support for the implemented systems. Key Responsibilities : - Platform Design and Deployment : Design, configure, and deploy the Kafka platform and its related ecosystem components (e.g., Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams) within client environments. This includes setting up brokers, topics, partitions, and replication factors.- Application Integration : Work closely with client development teams to understand their specific messaging needs and integrate their applications with the Kafka platform. This requires strong knowledge of application development using languages and tools such as Java, JavaScript, ESB/API tools, and/or C++/C.- Event-Driven Architecture : Apply a deep understanding of event-driven architecture principles to design robust, scalable, and resilient messaging solutions. Advise clients on best practices for using Kafka to build event-driven systems.- Support and Optimization : Provide ongoing support, including troubleshooting issues related to performance, connectivity, and data flow. Optimize the Kafka platform for high throughput and low latency.- Technology Stack Expertise : Utilize your working experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and PaaS platforms to deploy and manage Kafka in containerized or cloud-native environments.- Messaging Protocol Knowledge : Leverage your experience with various messaging protocols and platforms, including Solace PubSub+, JMS, and MQTT, to design comprehensive and interoperable messaging solutions. Required Qualifications :- Experience : Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.- Kafka Expertise : Proven experience with the full Kafka ecosystem, including Kafka Brokers, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Streams.- Programming Skills : Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or C++/C for application integration.- DevOps Tools : Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.- Messaging Concepts : Strong understanding of messaging protocols and platforms like Solace PubSub+, JMS, and MQTT.- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
