Responsibilities:


  • Assist in data collection, cleaning, and analysis from various sources.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis and create visualizations under guidance.
  • Document data processing steps and contribute to reports summarizing findings.
  • Actively participate in training and seek mentorship for professional growth.
  • Strong commitment to testing and QCing the data to maintain high quality output.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in BI and data analysis or related fields.
  • Strong grasp of data analysis fundamentals and proficiency in SQL, Python.
  • Strong experience with building dashboards using tools like PowerBI, Tableau. Familiarity with Apache Superset/Data Studio is a plus.
  • Proficiency in visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation and visualization principles, basic CSS/javascript knowledge.
  • Ability to handle and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Exposure to ETL concepts and Apache airflow is a plus.
  • Should be enthusiastic to learn new concepts and technologies and be able to implement them with minimal supervision.
  • Strong adherence to best practices in coding and database/visualization development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
  • Soft skills: critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability.
