Electrician – Control Panel Design and Fabrication

Location: MIDC Rabale, Mumbai, India

Position Type: Full-Time


About Deena Engineering Works


Deena Engineering Works specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-quality deck machinery, including anchor windlasses and winches, adhering to ABS, RINA, IRS, and other international standards. We are expanding our operations and looking for a skilled electrician to join our team and contribute to the design and fabrication of control panels for marine and industrial equipment.


Key Responsibilities


Design & Fabrication:

Design and assemble electrical control panels for deck machinery and other equipment.

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to build customized control panels.


Testing & Troubleshooting:

Conduct functional tests to ensure control panels meet performance and safety standards.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults or issues in control systems.


Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all control panels comply with marine standards and certifications (e.g., ABS, RINA, IRS).

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.


Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers and production teams to integrate control panels into machinery.

Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.


Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of electrical designs, modifications, and maintenance logs.

Qualifications


Education:

Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.


Experience:

3+ years of experience in control panel design and fabrication, preferably in marine or industrial applications.


Skills:

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.

Hands-on experience with PLCs, relays, circuit breakers, and other control panel components.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of marine electrical standards and classifications is an advantage.

Other Requirements:

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
