About the Role

As a Software Engineer Intern (Ruby on Rails), you will:

  • Develop highly scalable REST APIs and design database schemas.
  • Contribute to Auzmor Learn, our flagship LMS product, by implementing APIs and background jobs.
  • Solve enterprise-level challenges while improving coding, testing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Work with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, learning best practices and modern software development techniques.


Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Build database schemas and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Follow best practices: TDD, continuous integration, SCRUM, code refactoring, and code standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to enhance product capabilities.


Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / B.E / M.Tech / MCA / Computer Science or related field.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, OOP concepts, and relational databases.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery).
  • Understanding of NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work independently.
  • Passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Comfortable working in remote/hybrid environments with flexible hours.
