The ideal candidate is passionate about backend development, experienced in crafting scalable and reliable systems, and comfortable working across all stages of the software development lifecycle from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, QA engineers, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality software products.Key Responsibilities :Application Development :- Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency, scalable backend applications for mission-critical systems.- Build and enhance enterprise-grade backend services with a focus on robustness, performance, and maintainability.- Write clean, well-designed, efficient, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.Software Lifecycle Contribution :- Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) : requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.- Contribute to architectural discussions and recommend improvements in system design and implementation.Quality & Performance :- Optimize application components for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments.- Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering release builds of software components.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement :- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide technical recommendations.- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automation enhancements.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose adoption where appropriate.Key Requirements :Technical Skills :- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer or Backend Engineer.- Strong proficiency in Java, Java EE/J2EE, and related internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction Management, etc.).- Advanced experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).- Exposure to additional frameworks such as Hibernate and Struts is a plus.- Hands-on experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka and ActiveMQ.- Strong database experience with MySQL / Oracle / MSSQL / MongoDB / Cassandra.- Solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), design patterns, and best coding practices.Soft Skills :- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Passionate about learning, innovation, and building great software.Education :- BE/B.Tech or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
