Automotive Diagnostic Content Developers

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 1–3 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality diagnostic content for various vehicle platforms.
  • Analyze and interpret OE service & repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and system descriptions.
  • Simulate and validate diagnostic procedures using OEM and aftermarket tools.
  • Support the integration of diagnostic content into tester platforms and tools.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, sub-systems, and components.
  • Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues.
  • Experience using diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith, etc.
  • Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams and electrical conventions.
  • Familiarity with protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, OBD2, and J1939.
  • Hands-on experience with Bosch ESI[tronic] diagnostic tools and BDX (Bosch Data Extension).
  • Good knowledge of ODX, OTX standards for diagnostics.
  • Experience with analyzer & simulation tools (Vector, Samtec – HSX, HS+).
  • Usage of Diag Help Tool and other OEM-specific diagnostic testers.
  • ADAM Certification is a strong plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience working with Bosch or similar automotive aftermarket solutions.
  • Understanding of ISO standards for diagnostics and repair processes.
