We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Testing and Penetration Testing Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security testing and penetration testing for web applications, APIs, Android, and iOS platforms. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, performing security assessments, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance the security of our applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive security testing and penetration testing for web applications, APIs, Android, and iOS platforms.
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to assess the security posture of applications.
  • Perform static and dynamic analysis of applications to identify security weaknesses.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for security assessments.
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for remediation.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to address security issues and implement security best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on security best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in security testing and penetration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of security testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, etc.).
  • Experience with static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST).
  • Proficient in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
  • In-depth understanding of web application security (OWASP Top Ten) and mobile security best practices.
  • Experience with API security testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or Insomnia.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.


Additional Skills:

  • Experience with cloud security and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and code review processes.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integration of security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
