Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities :
1. To create complex and specialized content without supervision; manage end-to-end publication/medical education content development process including documentation.
2. Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise; coach and review content created by junior scientific writers; work in close collaboration with peers/team to develop best practices; and collaborate effectively with stakeholders .
3. Maintain effective relationship with the end stakeholders (medical scientific community) within the allocated Global Business Unit and product – with an end objective to develop education and communication content as per requirement.
4. Interact effectively with health care professionals on publication content.
5. Constantly assist junior writers in developing knowledge and sharing expertise.
6. Ensure timely delivery of documents and project updates.
7. Desired: Reproducible working experience demonstrating published articles, congress deliverables, post-hoc articles, meta-analysis, network-meta-analysis, case reports, slide decks, MSL decks and JPAC working experience
Desired Skills :
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of medical/scientific writing in pharmaceutical companies/ medical communications agencies.
- Understanding of any specialty area of medicine (preferred) or an overall understanding of the medical field.
- Strong flair and passion for writing.
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- Passion for networking.
- Being up-to-date with the latest technical/scientific developments and relating them to various projects.
- Skilled with use of Microsoft tools
- M. Pharm/ Pharm. D/Ph.D with publication or medical writing and publication coordination experience
