Thane, India Vector Consulting Full time

Vector Consulting Group is an 18-year-old homegrown Indian management consulting company. We offer unique solutions to chronic 'wicked' problems in areas of supply chain, operations, sales & distribution, R&D, NPD, retail operations, Industrial CAPEX projects, and software development. Some of our past clients include L&T, Tata Motors CV, Ashok Leyland, Royal Enfield, Bajaj Electricals, Godrej group, Lupin Labs, Raymond, Arvind Fashion, Blackberrys, and many more.

We have a strategic tie-up with TIS Inc., a $4.00 Bn Japanese company. Last year, we opened offices in Indonesia and the US and currently we have projects running in 23 countries.

Vector's organizational culture

As an organization, Vector operates a little differently. We have never downsized in our 2 decade history. We believe in hiring right and then not giving up on our employees. Vector also operates as a pure meritocracy where the most major constraint for your growth is you. We strive to have a stress-free, continuous learning environment where there are no individual targets. The success of projects and the company is everyone's responsibility. Unlike traditional firms, employees have freedom in almost every aspect; this manifests in things like infinite leaves, obtaining buy-in for decisions regardless of position, and no-guideline-expense reimbursements. We call this the Vector way, and the entire firm is invested in upholding this way of operating.

These principles of trust, win-win and mutual growth helped attract as well as retain some of the best MBA graduates from across the country. Over the last couple of years, growth for the firm has accelerated rapidly and headcount has grown by 50%+. Similar growth rates, if not more, are projected over the next few years

What's the Talent & Culture Team in Vector trying to do?

How do we scale as an organisation & strengthen this unique culture while not resorting to life sapping policy documents and a culture of corporate drudgery. The team is working on organization level problems and helping Vector achieve its ambitious growth targets while maintaining harmony with its unique culture.
