This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, where you’ll work closely with senior developers and QA leads to ensure every release meets top-tier quality standards. You’ll be involved in writing and executing automated test scripts, validating APIs, and contributing to continuous improvement in our QA processes. Some work-from-home flexibility is available as part of our hybrid setup.ResponsibilitiesExecute automated and manual test cases for web and API-based applicationsValidate APIs and endpoints using tools like Postman or similarCreate, maintain, and enhance automation scripts (preferably in Playwright, Selenium, or Reqnroll)Collaborate with development and QA teams to reproduce and resolve defectsPrepare detailed test reports, track issues, and verify fixes using JiraContribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to testing best practiceTechnical Requirements2+ years of experience in software testing (Automation + API)Hands-on experience with Playwright / Selenium / ReqnrollSolid understanding of API testing and validation techniquesExperience with Postman for API automationWorking knowledge of GitHub for version controlFamiliarity with Jira for project management and bug trackingBasic understanding of CI/CD pipelines is a plusCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetKeen attention to detail and high standards for qualityAbility to work collaboratively in agile, cross-functional teamsClear written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, proactive learner with a growth-oriented mindsetQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in automation and API testingExposure to web application testing and version control systemsBonus: Experience with performance or security testing tools
