About the Role: We have a fantastic opportunity for aSystems Engineer IIIto join ourEUC Enterprise Engineering teamat Elsevier. The primary objective of this role is to ensure our users are working as effectively and efficiently as possible by deliveringfirst-class IT services . As a Systems Engineer III, you will support the implementation and ongoing support ofenterprise technology solutionsacross the organization. This includes complex system deployments, upgrades, daily administration, monitoring, and system documentation. Responsibilities Assist Enterprise Engineering Leads with the execution and successful delivery of theEUC roadmap .Act as apoint of escalationfor complex technical issues and provide 3rd line support to internal squads.Share knowledge and foster team development by hostinglunch-and-learn sessions , mentoring peers, and driving ashift-left culturewithin the team.Deliverbusiness-critical supportto internal customers, ensuring SLA adherence and exceptional service.Collaborate closely with squad leads and engineering leads to deliver keyinfrastructure projects .Participate in anon-call rotation , supporting OCC/NOC escalations and providing after-hours support as needed.Comfortable interacting withsenior stakeholders , providing updates and input on technical initiatives.Occasionaltravel and off-hours workmay be required based on project timelines and business needs.Requirements Excellent understanding ofenterprise infrastructureand cloud platforms such asAzure ,AWS ,Active Directory , and otherauthentication services .Hands-on experience withDNSandDHCP , and solid working knowledge ofSCOMfor infrastructure monitoring and alerting.Strong grasp ofWindows Server environments ; experience withMacandLinuxenterprise systems is a plus.Proven ability toidentify automation opportunities , streamline processes, and reduce manual workload.A self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement.Work in a Way that Works for You We promote a healthy work-life balance across the organization.
