Job Description :

We are seeking a talented CakePHP Developer to join our remote team.

As a CakePHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using CakePHP framework.

You will work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using CakePHP framework.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions on time.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.

- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends in web development.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress.

- Adhere to project deadlines and priorities, managing workload effectively in a remote environment.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 2-3 years of experience in CakePHP development, with a strong understanding of PHP and web development principles.

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Familiarity with MVC architecture and object-oriented programming concepts.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Experience working remotely and collaborating with remote teams (preferred).

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Knowledge of other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

- Certification in CakePHP or related technologies is a plus.
