Product Trainer

Role - Product Trainer plays a critical role in enhancing the sales skills, knowledge, and performance of the sales team through the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs. They collaborate with sales leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to identify training needs, develop relevant curriculum, and facilitate engaging learning experiences to drive sales effectiveness and productivity.



Areas of Responsibility -


  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify training needs and gaps in the sales team's knowledge and skills.
  • Design and develop sales training programs, courses, and materials tailored to the needs of different sales roles, experience levels, and product/service offerings.
  • Create engaging and interactive learning content, including presentations, case studies, role-plays, and simulations.
  • Incorporate adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design to maximize learning outcomes.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for sales representatives, sales managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver training content using a variety of methods, including in-person sessions, virtual classrooms, and self-paced e-learning modules.
  • Foster a dynamic and participatory learning environment through interactive activities, group discussions, and real-world scenarios.
  • Provide targeted coaching and feedback to sales team members to enhance their sales skills, techniques, and behaviors.
  • Focus on key areas such as prospecting, needs analysis, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Conduct role-plays and sales simulations to practice and reinforce learning concepts in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with sales managers and leaders to align training initiatives with business objectives and sales targets.
  • Ensure sales representatives have a deep understanding of the company's products/services, target market, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
  • Develop and deliver product training sessions to equip sales team members with the knowledge and confidence to effectively position and sell offerings to customers.


Must :


  • Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; additional certifications in training and development are a plus.
  • Experience- minimum of 5+ years in a similar position.
  • Industry - Any industry or Education / Publication / other similar industries


Desirables:


  • Proven experience in sales training, sales coaching, or related roles, preferably in a sales-driven organization.
  • Deep knowledge of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Ability to adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with sales teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and performance metrics to inform training strategies and priorities.
