Senior Apex Engineer Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Apex Developer at Geminid Systems, Inc in Indore. The Senior Apex Developer will be responsible for programming tasks related to Salesforce development.


Responsibilities


  • Design and implement scalable Apex code, including triggers and batch jobs, while adhering to Salesforce best practices.
  • Build and optimize Batch Apex processes to handle large data volumes efficiently.
  • Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom, reusable, and responsive UI needs.
  • Create and manage integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, including handling authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0.
  • Ensure all development complies with Salesforce governor limits using Future methods, Queueables, and Platform Events.
  • Write and optimize SOQL and SOSL queries, ensuring efficient data manipulation through Apex collections and DML operations.
  • Develop error-handling frameworks and centralized logging mechanisms for robust and maintainable solutions.
  • Write unit tests with 90%+ coverage, simulating real-world scenarios to ensure code reliability.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to transform functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Research and implement advanced performance patterns like Custom Metadata, Custom Settings, and Platform Cache.

  • Proficiency in Apex programming and Salesforce development
  • Experience in Lightning Components and Salesforce integrations
  • Knowledge of Salesforce configurations and customizations
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
