Oracle SCM Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise in Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, including Inventory, Order Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into Oracle SCM solutions.
  • Configure and customize Oracle SCM applications to meet client-specific needs.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality and reliability of Oracle SCM solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and client teams to ensure effective adoption of Oracle SCM applications.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle SCM applications, addressing any issues or enhancements as needed.
  • Participate in project planning and management activities, including requirement gathering, scope definition, and timeline estimation.
  • Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Stay updated on the latest Oracle SCM features, updates, and best practices to provide optimal solutions for clients.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Oracle SCM and other business systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle SCM Functional Consultant, with expertise in multiple Oracle SCM modules.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience working with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SCM configuration and customization.

Skills:

  • Oracle SCM Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Oracle SCM modules and their functionality.
  • Business Analysis: Understanding client requirements and translating them into Oracle SCM solutions.
  • System Configuration: Configuring and customizing Oracle SCM applications to meet client needs.
  • Training and Support: Providing training and ongoing support for end-users.
  • Documentation: Creating detailed functional specifications and user manuals.

Preferred:

  • Oracle SCM certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM applications.
  • Knowledge of integration tools and techniques for Oracle SCM.
