Job Title: Application Tester Experience: 1 Year Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Full-timeJob Overview: We are looking for ahighly motivated Application Tester.The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, ensuring quality, identifying defects, and improving product reliability. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environment.Key Responsibilities: Executemanual test casesto validate application functionality, performance, and security. Identify, document, and trackbugs and defectsusing defect-tracking tools Work closely withdevelopers, business analysts, and product managersto understand requirements and define test cases. Performfunctional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testingon web and mobile applications. Ensurecomprehensive test coverageby designing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data. Participate inUAT (User Acceptance Testing)and assist in resolving issues reported by stakeholders. Maintain and updatetest documentation , including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Ensure adherence toQA best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements .Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field . Strong understanding ofSDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)andSTLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) . Experience withmanual testing , and basic knowledge ofautomation testing toolslike Selenium, Appium, or TestNG is a plus. Familiarity withAPI testing tools(e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and SQL for database validation. Exposure toAgile/Scrum methodologiesand version control tools (e.g., Git). Stronganalytical and problem-solving skillswith a keen attention to detail. Goodcommunication and teamwork skillsto collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Nice-to-Have: Knowledge ofperformance testing toolslike JMeter. Basic scripting skills in Python, Java, or any other programming language. Certification inISTQB Foundation Levelor any relevant QA certification.Why Join Us?
