SAP Document AI Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Document AI Consultant with hands-on expertise in implementing and customizing SAP Document Information Extraction solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) documents, performing sentiment analysis, and setting up alert mechanisms based on extracted insights.

This role combines technical expertise with domain understanding to automate and optimize document-based Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and implement SAP Document Information Extraction (SAP DI) services.

- Integrate SAP Document AI with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and SAP Workflow/Alerting mechanisms.

- Develop custom pipelines for ESG-related document parsing, extraction, and classification.

- Perform and fine-tune sentiment analysis on ESG narrative sections using SAP AI Core or integrated NLP libraries.

- Build and manage alerting mechanisms for early warning signs or compliance violations within ESG documentation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sustainability experts, data scientists, and SAP functional consultants.

- Optimize extraction accuracy through training of custom ML models and rule-based extraction techniques.

- Conduct end-user training and provide documentation for implemented Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience working with SAP Document AI / Document Information Extraction (DI)/ BTP BPA.

- Strong expertise in NLP and sentiment analysis techniques (preferably using SAP AI Core or third-party AI services integrated into SAP BTP).

- Hands-on experience in parsing and extracting insights from ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, or related unstructured documents.

- Experience with SAP BTP services: Workflow, Alerts, Process Automation, SAP AI Core.

- Understanding of ESG KPIs, compliance indicators, and sustainability reporting frameworks (like GRI, SASB, etc.) is a big plus.

- Experience with JSON, Python, and API integrations.

- Ability to design scalable, secure, and robust document processing solutions within enterprise SAP landscapes.
